KALĀRPAṆE means “our offering to the art form” in Kannada — pronounced ka·laar·pa·nae. A Bharatanatyam institution founded by Richa Joanita Das, nurturing dancers across the world through online and offline training.

The Artist

Richa Joanita Das

A Bharatanatyam practitioner with over 15 years of dedicated training under renowned gurus Parshwanath Upadhye, Shruti Gopal and Adithya P.V. at the Upadhye School of Dance, Bengaluru.

A Doordarshan-graded artist and recipient of the Karnataka Sangeetha Nritya Academy Scholarship (2021–22), she has performed across India and internationally — from the Men's Hockey World Cup Opening Ceremony to stages in Rome and Pontedera, Italy.

As Founder and Artistic Director of KALĀRPAṆE, Richa is dedicated to training and mentoring the next generation of dancers.
